    About the role#

    This internship focuses on the optimization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) management and the development of a cost reduction strategy. You will join the Support Operations Team in Mobile, Alabama, to work directly with a mentor on real-world operational challenges. This is a full-time, on-site program.

    What you'll do#

    • Analyze historical PPE expenditures to identify cost drivers and inefficiencies.
    • Assess current PPE management processes and benchmark these across different facilities.
    • Develop and propose a cost reduction strategy covering procurement, allocation, and waste reduction.
    • Create a tracking system to monitor PPE consumption and optimize stock levels.
    • Deliver recommendations and implementation guidelines to ensure the sustainability of your proposed strategy.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at the Sophomore level or higher.
    • Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Strong proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft applications.
    • Solid knowledge of technical terms.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Mobile, Alabama (100% on-site).
    • Term: 10-12 weeks.
    • Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and willingness to live in the Mobile metro area during the internship.
