    About the role#

    This internship provides students with practical experience in aviation manufacturing. You will join the Customer Line Industrial Integration Team for a 10-12 week program. You will work with a mentor to solve real-world problems and gain exposure to the assembly of A220 and A320 aircraft.

    What you'll do#

    • Support flight test operations and maintain flightline safety.
    • Manage tools and maintain Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
    • Assist with shop floor control routines, including facilities requests and ordering processes.
    • Support project managers with implementation projects, including digital tools and specific aircraft production initiatives.
    • Assist with AOP resource and OPEX planning.
    • Conduct competency gap assessments and planning.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an undergraduate program or higher at an accredited university in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
    • Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft applications.
    • Strong knowledge of technical terms.
    • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid internship located in Mobile, Alabama.
    • The role requires on-site work for the Summer 2027 term.
    • You must be willing to live in the Mobile area for the duration of the program.
