About the role#
We are looking for a Full Stack Web Software Engineer Intern to join our User Interface team for a 10-week summer program. You will work alongside traders, quants, and other engineers to build and maintain real-time trading applications. These applications are essential for our market-makers to interact with financial markets. You will take ownership of a specific project and present your work at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop web applications using React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Write unit and integration tests to maintain software quality.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve user experience and development efficiency.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles.
- Shadow the application support process to learn how our systems function in production.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Graduation date by August 2028.
- A major GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Proficiency in web programming languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and HTML/CSS.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. starting on your first day.
- Familiarity with Linux, command-line shells, version control systems like Git, and unit testing frameworks.
