About the role#
Akuna Capital is hiring Python Software Engineer Interns for a 10-week program during the summer of 2027. You will join either the Post Trade Technology or Data Engineering teams to build high-performance systems that process trading data. We focus on a team-based approach where engineers and traders work together to solve complex problems.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement solutions to technical challenges.
- Take full ownership of individual projects throughout the internship.
- Present your work and accomplishments at the end of the program.
- Work alongside software engineers and traders to process and analyze large volumes of market data.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Graduation date no later than August 2028.
- Major GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Strong programming skills in Object-Oriented Python Development.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
