About the role#
Albacore Inc. builds drone submarines to defend sovereign waters. We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in Philadelphia for the summer of 2026. This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Scale vehicle production to double-digits.
- Conduct international demonstrations to NATO.
- Blow up a ship (legally).
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a B.S., M.S., or M.S.E. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant technical field.
- You have a strong first-principles engineering mindset and a practical design approach.
- You can learn quickly and troubleshoot technical problems.
- You have experience with electrical tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and electronic loads.
- You are familiar with electrical CAD software, preferably Altium.
- You have experience with the design, implementation, bring-up, and debugging of electronic systems.
- You have exposure to high-speed digital, analog, or power electronics design.
- You are comfortable integrating processors, sensors, interfaces, and other electrical components.
- You have a detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills.
- You possess U.S. work authorization and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
