About the role#
This is a paid internship for pharmacy students looking to gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or preceptor to support patient care and pharmacy operations. This role is on-site and offers rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Perform all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor.
- Fill prescriptions while following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Consult with customers and health care professionals about prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health products.
- Participate in clinical services and assist with company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license if required by the state of employment.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work priorities and schedules as business needs dictate.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
