About the role#
ALDI USA offers a 10-week, full-time internship program for students interested in retail supply chain operations. This role provides hands-on experience in a warehouse setting. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn warehouse operations and collaborate with staff.
- Assist leadership with training, administrative tasks, and policy implementation.
- Work with the Inventory Control Team on inventory tasks, Waste Walks, and problem solving.
- Support recruitment by attending interview events and orientations.
- Prepare a formal presentation and report on warehouse operations for company executives.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, attendance, and performance.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare professional materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a group and build positive relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under deadlines.
- Initiative, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and follow company policies.
Location & details#
- Location: Rosenberg, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week for a 10-week program.
- Physical requirements: You will frequently stand, sit, bend, reach, and walk. The role requires working in varying temperatures, including refrigerator and freezer environments. You must be able to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
