About the role#
Join the Global Supply Management team at Allegion for a Summer 2027 internship. This role focuses on new product development, sourced products, and direct material strategies. You will work alongside industry experts on projects that impact our strategic initiatives and processes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Carmel, Indiana.
What you'll do#
- Learn how global supply management strategies support business goals.
- Gain experience with procurement technologies including Oracle, SMART by GEP, and Microsoft PowerBI.
- Analyze risk factors to support supplier and external risk management efforts.
- Engage with diverse suppliers to understand the role of Supplier Diversity programs in ESG goals and supply chain resilience.
- Lead projects both within the Global Supply Management team and across the company.
- Drive digital change within the organization.
- Build a foundation in supply chain principles and best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities, school projects, or work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and creative problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability and a desire to learn new skills.
- Passion for contributing to a secure world through supply chain solutions.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
