About the role#
The Infrastructure Engineering Summer Intern joins the Technology & Operations business unit to support the computing, communications, and infrastructure services that sustain our investment management operations. You will work alongside project managers and mentors to contribute to our technology use while gaining exposure to our investment management expertise.
What you'll do#
- Gather requirements and design tools in collaboration with GETS, development, and other business areas.
- Participate in projects across various teams, including Cyber Security, Database Management, Networking, and Platform Engineering.
- Use AI and emerging technologies to improve infrastructure reliability, automate processes, strengthen security, and enhance technology service delivery.
- Define use cases, user interfaces, and testing scenarios while scoping projects.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree candidate graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 in computer science, engineering, math, finance, economics, business, or liberal arts.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status.
- Experience or interest in Linux, UNIX, DBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, or Sybase), Networking, or Mobile Computing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work full-time from June through August.
- Successful completion of a background check.
