About the role#
This internship and co-op program focuses on the Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations team. You will work on-site at our facilities in North Reading or Westborough, Massachusetts. You will have direct access to robotics testing labs and manufacturing operations throughout your term.
What you'll do#
- Design, test, and deliver solutions for workflow layouts, space efficiency, and ergonomics.
- Use design software to create high-quality models that meet specific performance and safety requirements.
- Identify and communicate issues during the development and implementation of fulfillment center technologies.
- Refine designs to ensure they meet business, operational, and scaling goals.
- Write technical reports documenting processes and best practices.
What you'll need#
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You are currently enrolled in an academic program located in the United States.
- You are pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
- You have experience with design technologies such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp, or KeyShot.
- You understand industrial engineering fundamentals, including spatial layouts and process paths.
- You know how to convert functional requirements into engineering designs.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, material handling, or logistics is a plus.
- You can explain technical concepts clearly using simple language and visuals.
