    About the role#

    This internship and co-op program focuses on the Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations team. You will work on-site at our facilities in North Reading or Westborough, Massachusetts. You will have direct access to robotics testing labs and manufacturing operations throughout your term.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, test, and deliver solutions for workflow layouts, space efficiency, and ergonomics.
    • Use design software to create high-quality models that meet specific performance and safety requirements.
    • Identify and communicate issues during the development and implementation of fulfillment center technologies.
    • Refine designs to ensure they meet business, operational, and scaling goals.
    • Write technical reports documenting processes and best practices.

    What you'll need#

    • You are 18 years of age or older.
    • You are currently enrolled in an academic program located in the United States.
    • You are pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
    • You have experience with design technologies such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp, or KeyShot.
    • You understand industrial engineering fundamentals, including spatial layouts and process paths.
    • You know how to convert functional requirements into engineering designs.
    • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, material handling, or logistics is a plus.
    • You can explain technical concepts clearly using simple language and visuals.

    • Locations: North Reading, MA and Westborough, MA.
    • Terms available: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Status: Paid, full-time position.
