About the role#
The Credit and Fraud Risk team at American Express manages risk decisions to support growth and operational excellence. As an intern, you will join the Risk Products team to help build capabilities for our Card and Non-Card products. You will work with partners across marketing, finance, technology, and legal to create analytical solutions that improve the customer experience while minimizing risk.
What you'll do#
- Define product vision and manage the execution of product roadmaps.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define features, user stories, and business requirements.
- Implement risk products using low-code tools, focusing on global and configurable design.
- Analyze product performance data to inform future development decisions.
- Host daily stand-up meetings with technology partners to resolve development issues.
- Create documentation, presentations, and status updates for leadership.
- Identify and design reusable components to improve the risk product ecosystem.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor’s degree program.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in digital technologies and customer-driven design.
