About the role#
The Credit and Fraud Risk team works to make risk decisions that support growth and innovation at American Express. As an intern in this program, you will work on products that minimize risk and improve the customer experience. You will collaborate with partners across marketing, finance, technology, and legal teams to build analytical capabilities and software solutions.
What you'll do#
- Define product vision and manage the execution of product roadmaps while communicating with stakeholders.
- Support the development of software products and solutions to address risk management needs.
- Analyze data to assess product performance and inform future development decisions.
- Coordinate calls with cross-functional teams to define features, user stories, and business requirements.
- Host daily stand-up meetings with technology partners to resolve development issues.
- Create documentation, status updates, and presentations for leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor’s degree program, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and handle multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated interest in digital technologies and customer-driven design.
