About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in Credit Approval at Western Alliance Bank. You will work on projects related to your field of study while receiving support from a mentor. This is a full-time, paid position designed to help you apply your education in a professional banking environment.
What you'll do#
- Work on projects within the Credit Approval department.
- Collaborate with professionals and other interns.
- Participate in business projects and leadership development training.
- Engage in team-building activities and mentoring sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without direct supervision.
- A clear interest in the Commercial Business Banking industry.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Please note that we do not provide immigration sponsorship for this program.

- This internship is located on-site in Phoenix, Arizona, or Chicago, Illinois.
- The program runs during the Summer of 2027.
