    About the role#

    This is a paid, full-time internship based in our corporate lab in Rochester, New York. You will work with our technical staff to test the physical properties of flexible packaging for both new development and production. This is a rolling position.

    What you'll do#

    • Gather data in the lab, including bond strength, seal strength, tensile strength, and moisture or oxygen barrier testing.
    • Conduct sustainability and other material testing.
    • Manage project work and analyze the data you collect.
    • Handle other duties as assigned.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science. We also accept students from Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering programs.
    • Experience with lab equipment like tensile testers and heat sealers.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to organize data into clear report formats.
    • Statistical experience is a plus, but not required.
