    About the role#

    The Construction Procurement Co-op supports the sourcing and management of materials, services, and contractors for capital construction and infrastructure projects. You will gain hands-on experience in public-sector procurement, contract administration, and cost management within a safety-critical environment. This role involves working with engineering, project management, and finance teams to support large-scale infrastructure work.

    What you'll do#

    • Support sourcing and procurement activities for construction and capital projects.
    • Assist in preparing and analyzing RFPs, RFQs, and bid evaluations.
    • Conduct supplier and market research to inform sourcing strategies.
    • Help manage contract documentation, compliance, and procurement records.
    • Track spend, savings, and supplier performance metrics.

    What you'll need#

    • Active pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies or sophomore status at minimum.
    • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
    • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.

    • Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
    • Term: Fall 2026.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
    • Benefits: Includes Amtrak rail pass privileges and one PTO day per academic year.
