About the role#
We are seeking Manufacturing Engineer Interns for a 12-week program during Summer 2027. You will work on projects that support teams designing and building aerospace structures using carbon fiber composite material systems. This role provides direct exposure to engineers who design and analyze composite structures, as well as the technicians who manufacture them.
What you'll do#
- Receive problem statements, guidelines, requirements, and reporting milestones.
- Independently perform trade studies, create designs, and generate solutions for approval.
- Procure hardware as necessary to implement your solutions.
- Test, verify, and demonstrate the effectiveness of your work.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship.
- Must be returning to school at the end of the internship.
- U.S. Person status is required to access Controlled Unclassified Information.
- Capability to generate solutions for engineering problems.
