About the role#
Anning-Johnson Company offers a paid, full-time internship for students during the summer of 2027. You will work with experienced mentors, Project Managers, and Estimators on active construction projects. This role provides exposure to both field and office operations, allowing you to gain practical experience and develop industry skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist with takeoffs and estimating.
- Help with RFIs and submittals.
- Support project coordination.
- Contribute to project execution.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Logistics, or Operations Management.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to take initiative and learn quickly.
- A team-oriented approach to problem solving.
- High-performing academic status.

This is an on-site internship available in Atlanta, Georgia; Melrose Park, Illinois; Las Vegas, Nevada; Hayward, California; Wilsonville, Oregon; Sparks, Nevada; Mukilteo, Washington; City of Industry, California; and Manassas, Virginia.
