About the role#
This is a full-time, paid student worker position as a barista at the Starbucks location on the Mississippi State University campus. The role is for the Summer 2026 term and requires on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and serve coffee, other beverages, and food items.
- Take customer orders and handle cash register operations.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized.
- Provide helpful service to customers.
What you'll need#
- Experience with cash handling.
- Skills in coffee preparation.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work effectively when busy.
- Current enrollment in Business Administration, Nutrition, Civil Engineering, or Psychology is preferred.
