About the role#
This is a student worker position at the Qdoba location on the University of South Carolina campus. You will work with the food service team to support daily operations. This is a paid, full-time role available for the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Store food products correctly to meet safety standards.
- Serve food to customers and ensure they are satisfied with their experience.
- Set up, clean, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service counters.
- Maintain a positive demeanor while interacting with guests and coworkers.
- Keep service areas stocked and replenished.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous experience in food service is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- This role is open to students in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or Nursing.
