About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Public Works Engineering Intern for the summer 2027 term. This role provides exposure to engineering assignments that contribute to the planning, design, and construction of public works. You will build technical skills while exploring a career in the civil engineering industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing basic plan details, drawings, and calculations under the guidance of project engineers.
- Support the development of technical specifications and project documentation.
- Draft sections of technical reports or memorandums.
- Participate in field visits to observe tests, take measurements, and collect field data.
- Provide general support to project teams, including helping with proposal materials.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team-oriented and self-motivated approach to work.
