About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Public Works Engineering Intern for the summer 2027 term. This position offers exposure to real world engineering work through the planning, design, and construction of public works. You will work alongside project engineers to build technical skills and explore a career in the industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing plan details, drawings, and calculations.
- Support the development of technical specifications and project documentation.
- Draft sections of technical reports or memorandums under team direction.
- Participate in field visits to observe tests, take measurements, and collect data.
- Use company and department software to complete assigned tasks.
- Provide general support to project teams, including assistance with proposal materials.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
