    About the role#

    Ardurra is hiring a Transportation Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027 in Seattle. This role provides exposure to real-world engineering projects that support municipalities and public agencies. You will work with a team of professionals to build your technical skills and gain experience in the civil engineering industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in the design and analysis of transportation infrastructure, such as roadways, drainage, and signage.
    • Prepare engineering drawings, technical memoranda, reports, and specifications.
    • Conduct transportation design, modeling, and engineering calculations.
    • Participate in field investigations, site inspections, and data collection.
    • Contact vendors for budgetary quotes and help develop construction cost estimates.
    • Review design drawings for accuracy and adherence to standards.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Familiarity with Bentley or Autodesk software is preferred.

    • This is a full-time, paid internship located in Seattle, Washington.
    • The position is on-site.
