About the role#
This internship role supports the Power Delivery Team at Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation. You will assist with data management, asset tracking, and administrative tasks to help maintain reliable power delivery. This position requires someone who can work independently and adapt to changing project needs.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support using Microsoft applications, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Collect and clean data for non-NERC transmission assets.
- Organize and maintain test evidence for transmission assets.
- Manage Power Delivery Reliability records.
- Help develop and maintain the mobile data collection system.
- Align asset naming conventions within EAMS and Excel trackers.
- Create testing materials for technician skills assessments.
- Assist District Managers with requisitions and purchase orders.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Attend job-related seminars and workshops.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Mathematics, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn and use new software tools.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy.
- Valid state driver license.
- Ability to work outdoors in challenging weather conditions to support plant testing.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
