About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry. You will work on industry-related projects and gain insights into core engineering roles at ASM. This program is designed to help you build skills for a professional career in the semiconductor field.
What you'll do#
- Support simulation, DOE studies, and predictive reduce-order modeling to accelerate semiconductor engineering analysis.
- Work on projects that power technology such as smartphones and self-driving cars.
- Take on real-world challenges to build your problem-solving skills.
- Gain direct exposure to core engineering processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- A strong background in numerical modeling and simulation.
- Familiarity with DOE, data analysis, and scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
- Exposure to or interest in model reduction techniques like ROMs or surrogate modeling.
- Experience with CFD or multi-physics simulation tools is preferred.
