About the role#
This internship or co-op position is designed for students pursuing an engineering degree who want to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, process development, and design principles. You will support both sustaining engineering and new product activities within our team.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering research as assigned by your supervisor.
- Write process validation and qualification protocols and analyze the results.
- Design test protocols, equipment, and systems.
- Document and install process equipment.
- Support pilot build activities, including training production associates and organizing inspection data.
- Document all work according to company quality system requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A high school diploma.
- A desire to start a career in the medical device industry.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift more.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in Pleasanton, California.
- You must be available to work at least 20 hours per week.
- This is a paid position.
- Travel may be required up to 5% of the time.
