About the role#
This Intern/Co-op position supports engineering activities at AtriCure. You will work on sustaining engineering and new product development projects. The role provides exposure to manufacturing, assembly techniques, process development, and quality assurance. You will work on various projects on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Perform research and design test protocols, equipment, and systems as assigned by your supervisor.
- Conduct testing and write test reports in accordance with the AtriCure Quality System.
- Write process validation and qualification protocols, perform the activities, and document the results.
- Install and document process equipment while identifying potential improvements for assembly processes.
- Support pilot build activities, including production associate training, component flow, root cause analysis, and data collection.
- Document all work to maintain compliance with company policies and quality standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- A high school diploma.
- A desire to start a career in mechanical, manufacturing, or engineering fields.
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand, and occasionally bend or push/pull.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting over 25 pounds.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

- This position is located in Mason, Ohio.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid role.
- There is a 5% possibility of travel.
