About the role#
This is a part-time internship program for graduate students in STEM fields. You will join a team to develop solutions in AI, autonomous systems, edge computing, or simulation. The work involves internal research and development to address complex problems. You will receive mentorship from senior leaders and gain experience with professional business practices while working in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Create innovative solutions for AI, autonomous systems, edge technology, or simulation projects.
- Conduct research and write software to solve technical challenges.
- Produce technical documentation and design artifacts.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Develop your professional skills through mentorship and real-world project engagement.
What you'll need#
- You must be scheduled to obtain a Master’s degree in a STEM field by Summer 2027.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, JavaScript, Assembly, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
- Experience in AI/ML, autonomous systems, modeling and simulation, or AR/VR graphics.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with Agentic AI, Generative AI, robotics, computer hardware (GPUs, Arduinos, Raspberry Pis), or immersive simulation tools like Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.
