About the role#
The Fall Technologist Intern program is a part-time opportunity for technical students in STEM fields. You will work on internal research and development projects to create solutions in AI, autonomous systems, edge computing, or simulation. This role focuses on solving complex problems while you gain experience with professional business practices. You will work in a team environment and receive mentorship from senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Develop solutions in AI, autonomous systems, edge computing, or simulation.
- Perform creative and innovative internal research and development work.
- Use Booz Allen products and engagement models to solve technical problems.
- Build technical skills and professional expertise through team collaboration.
- Create design artifacts and technical documentation.
What you'll need#
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field by Summer 2028.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, JavaScript, Assembly, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Experience in AI/ML, autonomous systems, edge systems, modeling and simulation, or AR/VR.
- Experience conducting research and writing software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
