About the role#
The Aberdeen IronBirds offer a summer internship program for students looking to gain practical experience in sports and entertainment. You will work across various business operations to help manage the day-to-day success of the team, both on and off the field. This is an unpaid position designed for students seeking college credit.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in game-day operations, marketing, promotions, and ticketing.
- Assist with the set-up and execution of group events.
- Support community appearances and fan outreach programs.
- Help coordinate special theme nights and promotional events.
- Serve as a liaison for sponsors and special guests during game days.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current undergraduate or graduate student.
- You are seeking college credit to meet graduation requirements.
- You can commit to a minimum number of hours throughout the internship period.
- You are available to work home games, special events, and select office hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- You have a strong commitment to the betterment of the Aberdeen IronBirds Baseball Club.
- Preferred fields of study include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sociology, or Psychology.

About Attain Sports
Attain Sports operates a portfolio of professional baseball and soccer clubs. Founded in 2021, the company is based in McLean, Virginia.
