About the role#
As an Orange Ambassador, you will spend your summer helping bring the Baysox ballpark to life. This internship provides hands-on experience within a professional baseball organization. You will rotate through departments to learn how different areas of the business operate, including ticketing, marketing, and sponsorship activation.
What you'll do#
- Build and run single-game promotions.
- Help execute in-game entertainment and coordinate pregame ceremonies like first pitches and anthem groups.
- Get fans involved and excited during games, including participating in theme nights, line dances, and postgame festivities.
- Assist with marketing, sales outreach, and community initiatives while the team is on the road.
- Help run game-day operations and support various departments with events, mascot appearances, and sponsor activations.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current undergraduate or graduate student earning internship credit.
- Ability to commit to 300 hours between May and September 2026.
- An energetic, creative, and team-oriented mindset.
- Enthusiasm for sports and community engagement.
- A willingness to work flexible hours.
- Majors in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, or Media Studies are preferred.
