About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship program at Austin Industrial, Inc. You will work with the accounting team to gain hands-on experience with the month-end close process and analyze the financial health of construction projects. Interns are assigned a supervisor who provides guidance, sets goals, and reviews performance at the end of the program. You will also participate in volunteer events and visit an active project site.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly SGA departments.
- Prepare and enter journal entries.
- Assist in the mid-year forecast process.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports.
- Support various sub-departments on special projects.
- Scan supporting documents into the ERP system.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active junior or senior college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Your graduation date must fall between December 2026 and December 2027.
- You must be able to work 40 hours per week.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- You should have the ability to think analytically and work effectively in project teams.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027).
- Modality: On-site at our corporate headquarters.
- Employment status: Full-time temporary employee-owner.
