About the role#
This is a 12-week, full-time paid internship running from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. You will work with accounting teams across various operating divisions to assist with ongoing audits and perform risk-based testing. You will report to our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The role includes participation in social and volunteer events and the opportunity to visit active project sites.
What you'll do#
- Assist with complex audits of major construction and maintenance projects to assess process effectiveness and policy compliance.
- Develop workpapers and display detailed testing attributes.
- Conduct interviews, document results, and conclude on control assessments.
- Meet with project personnel at job sites to complete assigned work and analyze construction performance.
- Travel approximately 10% of the time to job sites.
What you'll need#
- Active junior or senior status in a bachelor's degree program for Accounting or Finance.
- A targeted graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to think analytically and work in project teams.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
