About the role#
This internship offers the chance to work with professionals building advanced 3D animation solutions for Hollywood special effects, film, and game artists. You will join the Interactive Graphics, Media & Entertainment group, which develops software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Flame, and FlowPT. You will work alongside experienced team members who will share their expertise and provide guidance throughout the term.
What you'll do#
- Develop features that help provide real-time experiences and workflows for customers using current technology.
- Participate in iterative design, testing, and development sprints to refine product solutions.
- Contribute to meaningful projects and participate in tech talks or development activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
- Completion of at least your second year of studies.
- Experience developing web-based applications using tools such as React, JS, Redux, Jest, CSS, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Go, Postgres, or GraphQL.
- Interest in cloud deployment technologies like Amazon Web Services.
- Ability to communicate well and present ideas to a group.
- Preferred experience includes full-stack web technologies like Java or Python and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
