About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work with the Interactive Graphics, Media & Entertainment (IME) group. You will join a team of professionals building 3D animation solutions used by creators in film, game design, and visual effects. This is a 16-week paid position running from January 4, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development of features that provide real-time experiences and workflows for customers.
- Participate in iterative design, testing, and development sprints to refine product solutions.
- Engage in meaningful projects while receiving mentorship from industry leaders.
- Attend tech talks and professional development activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering degree program, with at least two years completed and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
- Experience with web-based application development, such as React, JS, Redux, Jest, CSS, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Go, Postgres, or GraphQL.
- Interest in cloud deployment technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services.
- Interest in computer graphics, game engines, or NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to present ideas to a group.
