    About the role#

    This internship offers an opportunity to join the Flow Capture engineering team. You will build cloud-based production management and collaboration tools for the media and entertainment industry. You will work alongside experienced engineers, designers, and product professionals to develop features that support artists and studios throughout the production lifecycle.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop features that improve collaboration, review, asset management, and production workflows.
    • Contribute to web-based applications used in film, television, animation, and games.
    • Participate in iterative design, testing, and development sprints to deliver software.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and QA specialists to turn ideas into features.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and tested code while learning professional development practices.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Experience with backend or object-oriented software development, specifically Java, Kotlin, C#, Python, or Go.
    • Understanding of software fundamentals like data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
    • Experience designing or consuming APIs such as REST or GraphQL.
    • Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.
    • Interest in cloud development and deployment technologies like Amazon Web Services.
    • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and work collaboratively within a team.

    • Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
    • Term: Winter 2027 (January 4 to April 23, 2027).
    • Work Modality: Hybrid.
    • Status: Full-time, paid internship.
