About the role#
Balfour Beatty is seeking a Marketing Intern for our Dallas office to support the Texas division. You will assist our work-winning team in pursuing new business and managing internal and external communications. This role is for a student who wants to learn how marketing functions within the construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with research and the preparation of proposals, brochures, qualification packages, and presentations.
- Support the coordination and development of responses to requests for proposals and qualifications.
- Coordinate with team members to share and archive marketing information, including resumes, narratives, and photos.
- Update and maintain CRM database entries for projects and employees.
- Manage client testimonials and references.
- Proofread, edit, and review proposals for quality.
- Support communications efforts such as social media, internal newsletters, and website updates.
- Provide graphic and creative support to division departments and jobsites.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Graphic Design.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Adobe InDesign.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
- Interest in using AI technology, such as Microsoft Copilot, to improve marketing workflows.
- Ability to work as a self-starter and manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing information and meet strict deadlines with composure.
