About the role#
The BT R.I.S.E. Internship Program introduces students to the daily operations of a law firm. You will work under the supervision of the Chief Client Growth Officer and an assigned mentor to complete functional and administrative tasks. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position for Summer 2027 lasting 10 consecutive weeks.
What you'll do#
- Draft, edit, and proofread external communications like newsletters and announcements.
- Gather content for the firm website and social media channels.
- Research news, legal developments, and potential rankings for attorneys.
- Coordinate communications for firm events, webinars, and marketing initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to Client Growth Managers and communications staff.
- Maintain organized files and records for marketing materials.
- Collaborate with attorneys and business professionals on various projects.
- Manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate degree program (2-4 year).
- Standing as a sophomore, junior, or senior in Fall 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, Information Technology, or Legal Operations.
- Ability to proofread for grammatical and typographical errors.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating in person, by phone, or via email.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment like copiers and scanners.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions from a diverse group of staff and attorneys.
