About the role#
The Committee for Public Counsel Services is looking for a creative intern to support our statewide recruitment and outreach efforts. You will help develop strategies and materials to increase awareness of our private attorney panel opportunities. This role is a chance to build a professional portfolio while supporting a mission-driven organization focused on access to justice. You will work under the supervision of the Private Attorney Outreach Partner and collaborate with the Communication Director and Content Creator.
What you'll do#
- Develop creative content for social media platforms to assist with attorney recruitment.
- Create video content for our website that highlights the experiences of private panel attorneys, staff, and interns.
- Design recruitment materials including flyers, brochures, advertisements, and event collateral.
- Support the development of marketing campaigns to raise awareness about private attorney opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Coursework or experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations, journalism, or digital media.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate information clearly.
- An interest in public service, social justice, and mission-driven work.
- Access to a personal computer and home internet sufficient for remote work.
Location & details#
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: This is a remote position, though it may require travel to different office locations as needed.
- Commitment: Minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. We can work with students to support the receipt of externship credit.
- Majors: Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Public Health, or Political Science.
