About the role#
The BT RISE Internship program introduces students to the day-to-day operations of a law firm. You will work with the Client Growth and Marketing team on projects that align with your field of study and firm priorities. This is a paid, full-time summer position.
What you'll do#
- Research clients, prospects, industries, and market trends to support business development.
- Summarize research findings for the Client Growth and Marketing team.
- Prepare and maintain business development materials like client profiles and pitch decks.
- Support the creation of presentations for attorneys and practice groups.
- Track business development activities, events, and sponsorships in firm databases.
- Coordinate logistics for client meetings, webinars, and conferences.
- Provide administrative support to Client Growth Managers and communications professionals.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other staff to gather information.
- Manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university program to receive course credit.
- Pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Marketing, Information Technology, or Legal Operations.
- Status as a sophomore, junior, or senior in Fall 2027.
- Enrollment in a 2-4 year undergraduate degree program.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Proficiency in proofreading and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.

- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Modality: This is an on-site role.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 consecutive weeks).
- Employment: Full-time.
