About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work alongside experienced team members to gain hands-on experience in the accounting field. You will participate in a structured training program to learn about firm methodology and audit processes. This role is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a structured on-the-job training program to build familiarity with GAAP and GAAS.
- Provide support functions to audit staff during client engagements.
- Communicate with clients, creditors, banks, and related parties regarding audit issues.
- Prepare and document work in working papers using firm-specific tools and templates.
- Complete one assigned accounting or audit research project and present your findings to a panel of professionals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting.
- Active pursuit of school credits required to become a CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
