About the role#
As a Tax Intern in the International Tax Services group, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting experienced team members with cross-border tax matters. You will learn to navigate international tax laws and apply them to client situations while working with colleagues across our global network.
What you'll do#
- Assist with developing and implementing strategies to provide clients with advice on international tax issues.
- Coordinate with international colleagues to align US tax rules with foreign tax law.
- Conduct research on tax issues and assist in preparing written tax advice for cross-border transactions.
- Gather client information to help prepare international tax compliance forms and informational reporting.
- Use tax research databases such as RIA, BNA, and Lexis Nexis to support client engagements.
- Gain exposure to the development of work plans for assigned clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Taxation, or a Master of Laws (LLM) degree program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Preferred qualifications include a completed Bachelor’s degree, leadership experience, and prior experience using research databases like RIA, BNA, Lexis Nexis, or Westlaw.

- The role is for the Summer 2027 term.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
