About the role#
The Tax Intern for Transfer Pricing works with a team of consulting economists to help multi-national companies price transactions between entities within their corporate groups. You will examine economic conditions and industry trends while helping clients comply with domestic and foreign tax regulations. This role requires strong analytical, writing, and editing skills.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews to gather information on corporate structure, functional responsibilities, risk distribution, and value drivers.
- Analyze industry and financial data to benchmark or document intercompany pricing policies.
- Evaluate market penetration scenarios and calculate the value of intangible property.
- Prepare project reports that include research, quantitative analysis, and final results.
- Write industry overviews, functional analyses, and technical memos describing the analytical process.
- Develop presentations to convey analysis results and recommendations to clients.
- Proofread and edit reports before delivery to clients.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Exceptional research and writing skills.
- Ability to communicate directly with clients in a professional and confident manner.
- Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
