About the role#
Beam Therapeutics is seeking an Alliance Management Co-op to join the Business Development group for the Winter 2027 term. This role supports the operational side of strategic alliances, including foundational licenses and collaborations. You will help improve the systems and processes that keep these partnerships productive and aligned with company goals.
What you'll do#
- Build tools to improve the efficiency of daily alliance management processes.
- Use AI to integrate systems that track and monitor compliance with contractual obligations.
- Create tools that enable strategic analysis of workflows and decision-making.
- Assist with monitoring contractual compliance across the alliance portfolio.
- Join strategic discussions regarding the management of the company's alliance portfolio.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an MS, MBA, or PhD program, following a completed BS or BA degree.
- Must maintain student status throughout the duration of the co-op.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and AI, with Copilot proficiency as a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset.
- Ability to solve problems and use sound business judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- A strong interest in science and drug development.

- This position is based on-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- The term runs from January through June 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time co-op position.
