About the role#
As an Environmental, Health and Safety Intern, you will support our efforts to maintain compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory standards. You will work alongside our team to manage documentation, perform audits, and complete projects related to corrective and preventive actions. This role involves direct participation in our safety and environmental systems.
What you'll do#
- Assist with internal safety and environmental audits.
- Conduct Job Safety Analyses and draft procedures for operating production equipment safely.
- Monitor workplace environmental factors such as light, noise, and chemical levels.
- Manage the Safety Data Sheet inventory.
- Maintain compliance records for environmental and safety programs.
- Keep production signage current.
- Research safety and environmental best practices for potential adoption.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Quality Compliance Manager and the Environmental Health and Safety Specialist.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time or part-time student at an accredited university or technical college.
- Pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.
- Availability to work between 15 and 40 hours per week.

- This is an on-site role based in De Pere, Wisconsin.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
