About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Bernhard, you will support technical staff with core organizational functions. This role is designed for students to gain practical experience by assisting with basic engineering tasks and learning internal processes. You will work under direct supervision and handle routine assignments while referring more complex issues to senior team members.
What you'll do#
- Learn organizational processes and procedures.
- Contribute to assigned projects.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of documentation, records, and filing systems.
- Support drafting techniques, standards, and data resource duties.
- Organize and store maps, design drawings, graphs, and structural records.
- Collect and code data for input procedures.
- Review existing records for necessary revisions and prepare data.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High level of attentiveness to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.

- Location: Tucson, Arizona.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: $17.43 to $23.31 per hour.
- Travel: Up to 5% travel to job sites or office locations may be required.
- Physical requirements include remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods, repeating motions with hands or wrists, and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
