About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Bernhard, you will support technical staff by performing basic engineering tasks. You will learn our internal processes and procedures while working under direct supervision. This role involves handling basic issues and referring more complex problems to senior staff members.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to assigned projects.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of project documentation and records.
- Organize and store maps, detailed design drawings, graphs, and structural drawings.
- Collect and code data for input procedures.
- Review existing records to identify necessary revisions and prepare data accordingly.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Capability to understand and follow directions.
- Attentiveness to detail.

- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Employment: Full-time and paid.
- Travel: Up to 5% of the time may be spent traveling to job sites or office locations.
- Physical requirements include the ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods, perform repetitive hand motions, and lift or move objects up to 20 pounds.
