About the role#
Bernhard offers an internship for students to gain practical experience within the energy industry. You will work alongside a financial analyst to support the Development Finance team. This position is on-site and follows a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Audit existing financial models.
- Build new financial performance models.
- Research prospective clients.
- Perform credit analysis on customers.
- Evaluate debt structures and track market activity.
- Support interactions with clients and investors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Finance, Energy, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Proficiency with relevant computer software.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to identify options, implement solutions, and resolve complex problems.
- Clear written and oral communication skills.

- Location: Metairie, Louisiana.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
- Physical requirements: Ability to sit or stand at a desk for long periods, walk or climb on job sites as needed, and lift up to 15 pounds.
