About the role#
This student worker position supports the Dean's office and the Esports program. You will help with daily operations, keep the arena organized, and assist with general office tasks. This role requires you to represent the program professionally while working with students, staff, and the community.
What you'll do#
- Manage daily office operations and keep the Esports Arena organized.
- Handle administrative tasks including filing, making copies, and processing paperwork.
- Track office supplies and assist with computer applications.
- Serve as a communication link between students and the Esports staff.
- Support the department during student, faculty, and community events.
- Address questions from the public or refer them to the correct person.
What you'll need#
- Excellent telephone etiquette and a focus on providing superior customer service.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with the public and other employees.
- A professional attitude and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Majors in Business Administration, Communications, or Media Studies are preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, on-site role based in Brenham or Bryan, Texas.
- The position is part-time with rolling enrollment.
