About the role#
Blinn College is hiring a Student Worker for the Financial Aid office for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Brenham, Texas. You will support the daily operations of the financial aid, veteran services, and scholarships office while ensuring all work follows U.S. Department of Education and college policies.
What you'll do#
- Provide front-end customer service to students via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Refer complex financial aid questions to the appropriate full-time staff member.
- Accept, organize, and file student documents, including scanning records as needed.
- Assist the team with general office organization and administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Ability to provide clear, professional customer service to students.
- An understanding of office procedures related to financial aid, veteran services, and scholarships.
- A commitment to maintaining compliance with all internal and federal policies.
