About the role#
The IT Technician Intern supports the desktop environment and local business systems at our Arden facility. This role focuses on maintaining IT infrastructure, managing service tickets, and ensuring our hardware and software meet corporate standards. You will work on-site to provide technical support and help bridge the gap between plant personnel and Central IT.
What you'll do#
- Configure new and existing devices for deployment according to corporate standards.
- Track Service Delivery tickets to connect plant personnel with Central IT.
- Maintain license management and version control for software.
- Support the setup of processes around Service Management.
- Assist with hardware refreshes and desktop application installation.
- Provide on-site support for production and manufacturing connectivity.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field.
- Strong customer focus and a commitment to service delivery.
- Ability to engage and work with outside vendors and partners.
- Experience or understanding of a manufacturing environment.
